The TPS536C7B1 is a step-down controller with dualchannels, built-in non-volatile memory (NVM), andPMBus interface, and is fully compatible with TINexFET™ smart power stages. Advanced controlfeatures such as the D-CAP+ architecture provide fast
transient response, low output capacitance, and goodcurrent sharing. The device also provides a novelphase interleaving strategy and flexible firing order.
Adjustable control of output voltage slew rate andadaptive voltage positioning are also supported. Inaddition, the device supports the PMBuscommunication interface for reporting telemetry ofvoltage, current, power, temperature, and faultconditions to the system host. All programmableparameters can be configured by the PMBusinterface, and can be stored in NVM as the newdefault values to minimize the external component
count.
The TPS536C7B1 device if offered in a thermallyenhanced 48-pin QFN packaged and is rated tooperate from –40C to 125C.
